Your degree is an investment in your future. We have a variety of different payment options available, so you can choose the option or combination of options, that best fits your situation. The total cost will be calculated based on your program and can be divided into multiple payments.

Financial Aid Available

Military/Veteran Financial Aid

MNU appreciates the service and protection that the Military provides for us all. We offer a Military Financial Aid Program that can help active military, veterans and their spouses reposition themselves in the working world.

The School of Nursing prepares nurse leaders for advanced roles in Health Care Administration, Nursing Education, and Healthcare Quality Management. MSN graduates guide, direct and educate others on providing professional nursing care. These graduates evaluate education, administration, and quality to incorporate research findings into evidence-based practice. The impact of national and international policy and events are studied so that graduates can respond to nursing needs on a local to international level now and in the future. These leaders are also competent in scholarship, critical thinking and cultural diversity, and will continue to grow as servant leaders striving for personal and professional excellence.

The master’s degree program in nursing at MidAmerica Nazarene University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington DC, 20001, 202-887-6791.

Accreditation assures you of the program’s credibility for future nursing positions and continued education in nursing.

The MBA program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

Additionally, the University is authorized to offer associate’s degrees in all fields, bachelor’s degrees in all fields, and master’s degrees in the fields of Administration/Leadership, Business, Counseling, Education and Nursing. The University accreditation is through the Higher Learning Commission.

Outcomes

The faculty of the Graduate Studies in Nursing Department assist students to build on, at the graduate level, the five General Education Outcomes of the University. Graduate Nursing Students demonstrate competency in these outcomes before graduation. The outcomes, their definitions, and their defining characteristics relative to a master of science in nursing degree are:

  • Faith Integration: Uses one’s faith to guide advanced professional nursing practice.
  • Formational Thinking: Exercises intellectual curiosity, creative problem solving, and reasoned thinking by locating, analyzing, organizing, and applying knowledge for improving outcomes of professional nursing practice.
  • Communication & Self-Expression: Through professional, creative, and ethical self-comportment, communicates effectively to lead change to improve quality outcomes across diverse settings and healthcare populations (i.e., individuals, families, populations, and organizations).
  • Discovering Creation: Learning and interpreting information from creation as a person and incorporating the information into one’s personal life while engaging in advanced professional nursing practice.
  • Global Citizenship: Evaluate, design, and promote strategies that create a culture of safety and caring for diverse populations.

Nominations open for Daisy Faculty Award
The DAISY Foundation, as a part of its service to the nursing profession’s role in patient care, established the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty. The purpose of this program is to provide to colleges/schools of nursing a national recognition program they may use to demonstrate appreciation to educators for their commitment and inspirational influence on their students. The Foundation hopes that, in some way, this program will contribute to a positive work environment for faculty in schools.
